Observational Drawing Classes for Kids & Adults

Animal Sketching at the Harvard Museum of Natural History

Next session: Tuesday, December 20 from 9:00am to 11:30am.

January date TBA.

Drawing is a great way to connect with our natural world, and close study of museum specimens can be an inspiring way to develop your drawing skills.  We'll explore the museum's zoological collections with our sketchbooks, practicing techniques such as blocking in, shading, and capturing fur and feather textures. This is an informal workshop, with instruction targetted to individual student needs. Open to any skill level.

The fee is $40.00.

This class is offered independently - to sign up, ask questions, or receive e-mails about upcoming classes and workshops, please drop me an e-mail.
